MI Team IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians (MI) kept their core before the IPL 2025 mega-auction and retained five capped players. Jasprit Bumrah was MI’s first-choice retention and he was retained for a huge sum of Rs 18 crore. Hardik Pandya, who made his return to MI before IPL 2024, was retained for Rs 16.35 crore. MI have confirmed that he will lead the franchise in the next season.
Rohit Sharma (16.30 crore), Suryakumar Yadav (16.35 crore) and Tilak Varma (8 crore) were MI's other retentions. The five-time IPL Champions have only one Right to Match card left, which they can use on an uncapped player. MI have a purse of Rs 45 crore.
