He toppled Australia's batting and sent back their openers early. Bumrah followed up with the wicket of Steve Smith, who departed for a one-ball duck.
Bumrah created history and etched his name in record books by dismissing Smith on the first ball. Bumrah is the only bowled in history to dismiss Smith for a duck in Australia. Smith has only been dismissed on a golden duck twice.
Back in 2014, Dale Steyn dismissed Smith for a golden duck in South Africa. Smith didn't get out for a golden duck in next 10 years. Bumrah created a huge record by dismissing Smith on the first ball he faced.

Reddy missed out on a well-deserved half-century. He didn't get to bowl on the opening day. India will aim to get the remainder of three wickets early and gain a lead of more than 50 runs.
