trump advisor steven cheung and secret service's anthony guglielmi address ambulance reports at mar-a-lago: 'f-----g dummy'

After reports of ambulances and Secret Service vehicles at Donald Trump's residence, Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida surfaced, Steven Cheung, a spokesperson of Trump, slammed the reporter who broke the story as a "fu***** dummy." Anthony Guglielmi, the Chief of Communications for the US Secret Service, also responded to the report, clarifying that there was no "Secret Service directed medical transports from Mar-a-Lago."

Cheung was the first to react, via his account on X, where he hit out at The Independent reporter, Andrew Feinberg who broke the story, as a "fu***** dummy."

"The press has set up a fake, unofficial 'pool' because they want to feel important about themselves," Cheung wrote. "In this case, some idiot at CBS overreacted and set off the fire alarm for no reason thinking they were going to get the scoop of a lifetime."

"Fucking dummy," he added.

Feinberg, who is the chief White House correspondent for the Independent, initially posted about two ambulances and several vans "full of Secret Service" leaving Mar-a-Lago later on Thursday. Feinberg cited the news as the pool, via a reporters and stringer who are present outside Mar-a-Lago providing real-time updates.

However, withing a few minutes, Feinberg provided an update on the report, saying that it was Vice President-elect JD Vance's motorcade performing some routine work at the Donald Trump's residence. "False alarm," he said in the update. "Go about your business."

CALM DOWN, PEOPLE. Per a transition source and @SecretService, the ambulances were part of Vice President-elect @JDVance’s motorcade. False alarm. Go about your business. https://t.co/SJCiLIHnPj

Responding to Feinberg's post on X, Secret Service Communication director Anthony Guglielmi confirmed that there was no Secret Service directed medical transports from Mar-a-Lago.

"Andrew we are not tracking any Secret Service directed medical transports from Mar-a-Lago and from our personnel on the ground, there are no issues or concerns with any Secret Service protectees on property," he wrote. "If there is an ambulance it may be an unrelated issue."
