Firefighters battled a massive fire at a natural gas well site near 516 S 25th W Ave in Tulsa on Tuesday. A large plume of smoke could be seen after witnessess heard at least two explosions. The city's fire department employee Andy Little told local media outlets said hazmat is on the scene and is asking citizens to stay clear of the area.
Several social media users posted photos from the scene. Visuals showed black smoke. According to local media, a representative with TFD, said that they are trying to determine what exactly is on fire. Employees in the area told first responders that it likely started around the petroleum tank farm.

"A large industrial fire burning in West Tulsa. Here's a view from a #FOX23 camera across the river. Seen a few small explosions since it began," a Fox23 meteorologist wrote on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.
