New Delhi: Pollution level in Delhi-NCR has significantly increased, leading to the authorities to evoke GRAP 4 to be imposed from Monday. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Sunday announced that all the classes will shift to online mode, except class 10 and 12. With the implementation of GRAP-4 in Delhi, entry of trucks into the city will be banned, expect for those carrying essential items. Meanwhile, the governments can also explore options like work from home for employees in offices, restricting outdoor activities.
However, the state governments in NCR are yet to make a decision on suspending physical classes.
With the imposition of GRAP-4 from tmrw, physical classes shall be discontinued for all students, apart from Class 10 and 12. All schools will hold online classes, until further orders.

Currently, the Air Index Quality (AQI) in Delhi is in severe category. According to SAFAR, the AQI in Delhi is 465 at the moment.
GRAP 4 Restrictions in Delhi
Entry of truck into Delhi, except for trucks carrying essential commodities, will not be allowed. However, those LNG, CNG, Electric, BS-VI Diesel trucks will however be permitted. Meanwhile LCVs registered outside Delhi except those carrying essential commodities / providing essential services will not be allowed either.
A strict ban will be implied on registered BS-IV and below diesel operated Medium Goods Vehicles (MGVs) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) plying in Delhi, except the ones providing essential services.

Ban C and D activities, as in the GRAP Stage-III, also for linear public projects such as highways, roads, flyovers, overbridges, power transmission, pipelines, tele-communication etc.
Delhi Schools, Colleges May Go Online
Governments of NCR states and GNCTD will take a decision on discontinuing physical classes even for classes 6-9 and class 11, conducting online lessons. State Governments may consider additional emergency measures like closure of colleges/ educational institutions and closure of non-emergency commercial activities, permitting running of vehicles on odd-even basis of registration numbers etc.
Meanwhile, the governments can also consider allowing public, municipal and private offices to work on 50 per cent strength and the rest to work from home. Central Government may take appropriate decision on permitting work from home for employees in central government offices.
