'hindu girls should marry only hindu boys': devkinandan thakur presses for 'sanatan board', lists 3 demands

New Delhi: Spiritual guru Devkinandan Thakur reiterated his demand for a Sanatan Board and said that there is a need to stop religious conversions. He made the remarks during his Dharma Sansad in Delhi regarding the formation of the Sanatan Board.

"We need Sanatan Board so that Tirumala incident does not happen again…Religious conversion should be stopped through Sanatan Board. Action should be taken against those who have adulterated the Prasad…Hindu girls should should marry only to Hindus…The company which is selling Halal goods should be boycotted," he said during his Dharma Sansad in Delhi.

He added, "I want to request all the religious leaders and say, if not now, then never. We have tolerated a lot, now we will not tolerate it anymore, Hindus will take their rights. We will not be divided."

The remarks come a day after he said that leaders from all political parties will be approached for support. He added that both sides, with part of the ruling alliance or in the Opposition, will be called to strengthen the voice of ‘Sanatanis’.

“Why were the rights of Sanatanis taken away after independence? Why is the place of worship in the possession of the government? The right to protect our religion is our fundamental right. Those who adulterated the Prasad have violated the Constitution. ” he had said.

Devkinandan Thakur's Three Demands

On November 11 also, he demanded the formation of a 'Sanatan Board' after Islamic cleric Tauqeer Raza made "inflammatory" and "provocative" remarks.

Talking to IANS, Devkinandan Thakur said, "We are demanding three things from the 'Sanatan Dharma Sansad.' Our first demand is to establish the 'Sanatan Board', our second demand is to form 'Krishna Bhoomi Mandir,' and our third demand is to take strict action in the Tirupati Balaji temple matter."He further slammed Raza for using unconstitutional words and demanded strict action against him."

He has used inflammatory remarks and I am requesting the government to take strict action on this matter. Raza is trying to scare 100 Crore 'Sanatanis.' There are some people in our country who are trying to create situations like Bangladesh," he concluded.
