Song Jae-rim, the 39-year-old South Korean actor who won millions of hearts with his performances in K-Dramas and movies since 2009, was found dead on November 12 at his Seoul apartment. He left behind a legacy that shall be cherished by many generations.
As per reports, Song Jae-rim’s funeral will be held on November 14 at Seoul Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital. Ahead of the final emotional goodbye, an interview from 2022 resurfaced on the internet wherein he revealed his wish for a happy funeral. It left his fans emotional.

In the interview, Song Jae-rim joked, “I'd like people to drink champagne at my funeral. My bucket list is to have a funeral that feels like a celebration.”

Mourning Song’s death, the CEO of Saram Entertainment, his former agency, said in a statement, “He was known as an actor with a good personality, and many people recommended him, so we signed a contract after several meetings earlier this year. We talked a lot about promotions, and he was an actor with a lot of passion and wanted to do a lot of projects. Song also had several works that had finished filming and were preparing to be released. Right now, all I can do is stay by Jae Rim’s side until he leaves our side.”
Song, who made his acting debut with the 2009 film Actresses, worked in multiple series and movies. His last released project was the web show Queen Woo, which streamed between August 2024 to September 2024. It also starred Jeon Jong-seo as Woo Hee, Kim Mu-yeol as Eul Pa-so, Ji Chang-wook as Go Nam-mu, Jeong Yu-mi as Woo Sun, Lee Soo-hyuk as Go Bal-gi among others.
