New Suzuki Dzire Revealed
Maruti Suzuki has revealed the new Dzire ahead of its launch on November 11. The New Dzire features enhanced style, safety, nouvelle amenities and engine. Everything has changed except that it continues to be a rival to Honda Amaze. Both the cars hold a tight spot in the compact sedan segment.
New Maruti Suzuki vs Honda Amaze: Dimensions
The New Maruti Suzuki Dzire has slightly bigger dimensions in comparison to the Honda Amaze. It measures 1,735 mm in width and 1,525mm tall, whereas, the Honda Amaze has a width of 1,695mm and overall height of 1,498mm- 1501mm. However, in terms of length both measure the same at 3,995 mm.
Dzire vs Amaze: Engine And Gearbox
The New Maruti Suzuki Dzire gives a tough fight to Honda Amaze in terms of engine performance. This new Sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that boasts a power of 82 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. It is mated with a 5-speed manual with an optional 5-speed AMT. Whereas, the Honda Amaze has a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol motor that generates 89 bhp power and 110 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5 MT or an optional CVT.
Amaze vs Dzire: Features, Interiors
While both Sedans are fairly packed with features, the New Maruti Suzuki Dzire edges ahead with its first-in-class electric sunroof and a 9-inch touchscreen. Over the top, the Dzire is also equipped with a 360-degree camera over its rival. Furthermore, Dzire has been provisioned with six airbags as standard while Amaze has two frontal airbags.
Price
The price for the New Maruti Suzuki Dzire is yet to be revealed. It will be launched in India on 11 November. The outgoing model was previously sold starting at Rs 6.56 Lakh (ex-showroom). In contrast, the Honda Amaze currently sells at Rs 7.62 Lakh (ex-showroom).
