Sidharth Malhotra is all set to explore the folklore genre with Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Arunabh Kumar’s TVF Motion Pictures. Today (November 7), on the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja, the actor announced the title of his upcoming film, Vvan – Force Of The Forrest.

Sharing the title announcement motion poster, Sidharth wrote, “Excited to be part of this folk thriller, with a powerhouse team. Can’t wait for you all to experience ‘VVAN – Force of the forrest’ on the big screen in 2025.”

About Vvan – Force Of The Forrest
According to a news portal’s report, Sara Ali Khan has been signed along with Sidharth. A source close to the development informed India Today that Vvan – Force Of The Forrest will be set against the backdrop of a rural folk story. Reportedly, the film is scheduled to go on floors in 2025. The makers are yet to announce the complete cast.
Vvan – Force Of The Forrest is directed by Deepak Mishra, who helmed Amazon Prime Video’s flagship show, Panchayat along with TVF’s iconic series like Permanent Roommates.
According to aPinkvilla report, Vvan – Force Of The Forrest is ‘high-on drama and emotion film, set against the backdrop of a folklore deep-rooted in Hindu Mythology’. A source said, “The makers have the vision to create a unique cinematic experience like Kantara with the feature film. While Sid is expected to hear the final narration in November, the makers are aiming to take the film on floors in 2nd half of 2025. He will sign the dotted lines once the final narration takes place.”
Workwise, Sidharth’s previous movie was Yodha which released earlier this year.
