On November 7, Shah Rukh Khan received a threat via a phone call, where he was asked to pay a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. The Mumbai Police has swung to action and a case has been registered at Bandra Police Station under offence u/s 308(4), 351(3)(4) of BNS. As per reports, the threat call was made by one Faizan, a resident of Raipur, Chhatisgarh.
SRK, who is currently busy with the dubbing of Mufasa: The Lion King, was spotted outside a dubbing studio in Mumbai hours before the death threat call. The superstar was clicked in his new hairdo as he exited the dubbing studio and made his way to his car. Several videos and pictures of SRK have since gone viral on social media platforms.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have reportedly sent a team to Raipur to investigate the death threat matter. The cops have recorded the SRK's statement regarding the threat call. The ransom call to SRK comes amid constant death threats to Salman Khan, whose security has been beefed up.
Over the last few months, several threats have been made to Salman from notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The superstar, nonetheless, is continuing with his work committments be it Bigg Boss 18 or Sikandar shoot.
Coming back to SRK, he celebrated his birthday on November 2 with the media where he interacted with his fans. On the work front, King Khan is gearing up for his next release – King – which will feature him alongside daughter Suhana Khan. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani fame, King will have Abhishek Bachchan as the villain.
