Southfield Fire: Responders Battle Blaze At Oakland County Apartment, People Likely Trapped

A fire broke out at an apartment building in Southfield, in Oakland County, Michigan on Monday afternoon. The building, located in an apartment complex on Southfield Road, was entirely on fire as fire authorities in Oakland County battled to contain it.

Fox 2 Detroit reported that the firefighters were called at around 2:34 p.m. local time at the Le Chateau Apartments. Southfield firefighters have requested help from the fire departments of the nearby areas.

It is not clear how many people are trapped in the building.
