The latest episode of Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show featured the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, including Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan along with director Anees Bazmee. They graced the couch of the comedy show to promote their recently released film. Well, a certain clip from the episode is now going viral but for the wrong reasons. In the video, Sunil Grover's character Dafli is seen asking Triptii Dimri about her bold scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in the 2023 film Animal. Netizens aren't too happy about this as they questioned if the makers would have asked this same thing to Ananya Panday or Janhvi Kapoor.
The viral clip
The promo begins with Sunil Grover, in his female character of Dafli, asking Triptii Dimri, "Aap ho jo Aminal (Animal) picture mein thi?" The actress responds, "Ji main hi thi. Dekha, maine aapne kya kya bola hai mere bare me." Dafli questions, "Yeh jo aapne Ranbir Kapoor ke saath kiya hai, I hope woh sirf shooting thi; aise asli mein toh kuch nahi tha na?" Dimri laughs and says that it was not real.

Fans of TGIKS criticised Sunil Grover and the makers of the show for asking this 'uncomfortable' question to Triptii. Someone commented on the promo, "They won't dare to ask something like this to nepos and try their best to sideline outsiders, Bwood will never change (they've already lost their rep lol)." Another added, "I feel bad for Tripti. It’s so clear that she wants everyone to get over that role it’s been so long. Sachme wohi atke hue hai."

A comment read, "Tripti is sweet and calm. She took it so sportingly. Would this question be asked if she was Ananya or Jahnvi?
