Shah Rukh Khan turned 59 on November 2. He celebrated his special day with his fans and family. After having an intimate birthday celebration with his near and dear ones, the star celebrated the day by spending time with his fans. It's not just today; Shah Rukh never shies away from sharing details about his life with his well-wishers. Did you know the actor once even revealed crying in front of people for the first time? He shared how he went back to Delhi after getting to know about his mom's illness and how he struggled to get the money needed for the treatment.

Shah Rukh Khan on his mother's death:

Shah Rukh was shooting in Goa when he heard the news of his mom’s condition. That was the first time he broke down in front of others. He returned to Delhi as soon as possible.

Shah Rukh recalled how he spent the last few hours with his mom. He told Stardust, The last few hours I sat down at the head of her bed with her in my arms. I told her, listen you can't die, because I'll be very unhappy. You can't die on me, you can't leave….. you love me….. And you haven't seen my new serial. A lot of stupid things….. which sound stupid now. You haven't done this, you haven't done that. Very dramatic, very film-like….."

He added, "There was no drama in her dying. She had her eyes open, she just kept looking at me, and then suddenly she just closed her eyes and died. I didn't cry then. The crying came later, when I was burying her. And at that time it somehow made me feel that I wasn't so great after all. No one is great. So when I say that this one is no big sh*t, I don't mean offence. I just mean that nothing is permanent, ever."

On the work front, SRK has King in the pipeline.
