Ahead of the much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India A are currently on the Australia tour as they are scheduled to face Australia A in a two-match unofficial Test series. The first match started on October 31 at Mackay's Great Barrier Reef Arena. Riding on Brendan Doggett, India A could only manage 107 runs in the first inning. But Mukesh Kumar's six-wicket haul helped India A to come back into the game as Australia A were bowled out for 195 runs. Sai Sudharsan and Devdutt Padiakkal have steadied the ship and the onus will be on them to extend India's lead on the third day.
