The FBI raided the South Carolina home of Pastor John-Paul “JP” Miller, whose wife, Mica Miller, died by suicide in April. Mica Miller, 30, was found dead at Lumber River State Park in North Carolina from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in April. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office released a report concluding her death as a suicide, based on "surveillance footage, interviews, physical evidence, and findings from the North Carolina Medical Examiner's Office."

Authorities said on April 27, a 911 call was placed by a woman asking for her phone to be traced. She allegedly explained on the call that she intended to end her life and wanted her family to locate her body.

Dispatch traced the call and arrived at the park where they found a black Honda Accord registered to Mica.

“Investigators located a Sig Sauer gun case in the vehicle's passenger seat and a box of ammunition in the center console,” the sheriff’s office release stated. “They also discovered receipts for the gun and a convenience store purchase dated the same day as Miller’s death.”

During their search, an unidentified individual informed authorities they had heard crying and a gunshot. Minutes later, a second 911 call reported a body in the park's water. The body was later identified as Mica Miller.

The investigation revealed that Mica Miller and her husband were separated. Days before she died, Mica had reportedly filed for Separate Support and Maintenance against her husband.

On Thursday, six months after he death, FBI raided his home.

Confirming the FBI searched, his lawyer, Russell Long, told PEOPLE: "They executed a search warrant at his house this morning, as expected. Nothing new really. Hopefully this is the end of it."
