Why Sexyy Red's Shift Matters
Sexyy Red’s shift from supporting Trump to voting for Kamala Harris is significant because of her influence in the midwest region. The 26-year-old rapper has millions of followers on social media – across platforms.
She is now one of the many celebrities who have ditched Trump. Former Republican governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, who had previously supported Trump, has endorsed Harris, criticizing the former president.
Dick and Liz Cheney are other prominent Republicans supporting Kamala Harris. Former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, once a supporter of Trump, has crossed party lines.
