There's not a single doubt that Virat Kohli is one of the greatest ever cricketers to grace the Gentleman's Game. But being a great cricketer has always come second and Virat Kohli, the kind-hearted person has always come first, something the 35-year-old is always commended for. If we look at Virat Kohli's performance in the Test series against New Zealand, the India star has been below average. He scored a duck and a 70 in the 1st Test, followed by 1 and 17 in the 2nd Test. The Rohit Sharma-led side have lost both the matches now and are on the verge of a white-wash. This also happens to be their first home Test series loss after a gap of 12 long years.
Former India cricketer, Aakash Chopra recently expressed concerns regarding Virat's form in the longest format of the game.
"Is Virat Kohli's Test form a concern? He has scored only two centuries in the last five years. It's always going to be a concern if Virat doesn't score runs or scores less runs because he is a mighty player and you make your entire game plan around Kohli. This team requires his form and contribution even more because Rohit (Sharma) is at the top and Kohli is in the middle, the rest around them are all kids'', Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
