An armed man has reportedly barricaded himself inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown Atlanta and is positioned on a balcony. Multiple fire and police units are currently on the scene. Snipers have reportedly been spotted in surrounding buildings.

According to reports, the barricaded gunman is on the 33rd floor of the hotel, while police are coordinating efforts from the 32nd floor. Due to the incident, police have closed several streets to manage traffic.

14th Street NE at W Peachtree Street NE
14th Street NE at Crescent Avenue NE
13th Street NE at W Peachtree Street NE
13th Street NE at Crescent Avenue NE
13th Street NE at Peachtree Walk NE
A shelter in place was issued by police, who urged visitors to stay out of the area.
"Citizens within sight of the Four Seasons Hotel are advised to avoid any windows and rooms facing the area," a spokesperson for the department posted on X.
