Bengaluru: The IT hub city of Bengaluru, also known as Bangalore, is not only located in India but also has a presence in the US. A user on X shared a photo featuring directional signboards pointing to various destinations, including one for “Bangalore.” In their post, the user expressed feelings of nostalgia upon seeing the “Bangalore” sign, as it reminded them of home. “I read Bangalore sign board in San Francisco and broke down, home,” he said in a post on X.
The post quickly went viral, amassing over 67,000 views. It also attracted the attention of numerous netizens, who shared their own experiences of encountering references to their hometowns while abroad. The board included other names including Seoul, Zurich, Ho Chi Minh City, Haifa, Amman, Thessaloniki among others.

In one such case, a Bengaluru-based auto driver has installed a dashcam in his neat and clean autorickshaw. Purpose? To make riders feel that they are safe. Shantha Gowda has installed a dashcam in his auto to build confidence in customers about their security and safety during the journey.
"I want my customers to know they are in safe hands…The dashcam records everything, which can be crucial in case of any incidents," he said.
