Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan took the audience by surprise at the launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s song, Ami Je Tomar 3.0. The divas stole the limelight by performing on stage. During the dance piece, Vidya matched steps with Madhuri and nailed thejugalbandi with grace. However, the actress stumbled mid-performance. Vidya handled the moment elegantly and continued wowing the audience with her sportsman spirit.

On Sunday, Vidya shared a BTS video of her rehearsal for the 52-second dance performance on stage at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House. In the clip, the actress said she was doing a stage act after 12 years and hadn’t rehearsed with Madhuri.

Sharing the video, Vidya reacted to her mid-performance stumbled and thanked fans for showering love on her. Her caption read, “The show must go on” suna tha, ab nibha bhi liya… loved every bit of sharing the stage with @madhuridixitnene ji … A big thank you to you for your grace and generosity. Vidya and Madhuri in Ami Je Tomar 3.0
AtAmi Je Tomar 3.0’s launch, Vidya spoke about sharing the screen with Madhuri in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She said, “It’s an honour for me to share the screen with her [Madhuri Dixit]. My sister reminded me of how much I’ve always looked up to her, so this is a major achievement for me. I just focused on that and enjoyed every moment. Someone asked if I was nervous, I fell today, but I got right back up and performed with confidence.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film releases on November 1.
