If this happens, it might be a casting coup! As per the latest round of reports, Korean superstars Ji Chang-Wook and Son Ye-Jin are in talks to collaborate for an upcoming historical drama Scandal (working title).
Ji Chang-Wook and Son Ye-Jin in Scandal?
As per Korean media, the two ace actors are being considered to play the leads in the Netflix show, a remake of the 2003 critically acclaimed film Untold Scandal that starred Jeon Do Yeon, Bae Yong Joong, Lee Mi Suk, Lee So Yeon, Ban Ya Choi, and others. The R-rated movie was directed by Lee Jae-Yong.

Ji Chang-Wook, Son Ye-Jin's agencies confirm
On October 24, Son Ye-Jin's agency MSteam Entertainment confirmed that the Crash Landing on You star has indeed received a casting offer and she was currently reviewing it. Even Ji Chang-Wook’s agency Spring Company said in a statement, “It is true that he has received a casting offer.” The agency stated that the Gangnam B-Side actor is reviewing the proposal.

About Scandal
As per reports, Scandal will be a historical drama based on the 18th-century French novel Dangerous Liaisons. Its original Untold Scandal was set in Korea’s Joseon Dynasty.
It is expected to be helmed by Jung Ji-Woo whose past projects include Tune in for Love, Somebody, Heart Blackened, Eungyo, Moss and more. The remake will go on floors in March 2025 .
