Fans of superstar Mahesh Babu and director SS Rajamouli who have been waiting with bated breath for a development on India’s most anticipated film #SSMB29 (working title) has some good news! While the pre-production is in full swing, Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya revealed that the makers have commenced scouting locations for the film. The news has brought a lot of excitement among the fans.
Location Hunt
The action adventure is nearly done with the scripting process and pre-production work and is likely to commence shooting in January 2025 according to reports. Meanwhile, Karthikeya took to his Instagram stories and revealed that his father and director Rajamouli has started scouting for locations for #SSMB29.
Rajamouli will also shoot in specially designed sets in Hyderabad. But the team also has to shoot in real locations to replicate them in Vfx. However, Karthikeya hasn’t revealed the location details. The film is an African-adventure and is set in amazon forest, and Rajamouli is hunting for locations for the globe-trotting adventure, which is inspired by James Bond and Wilbur Smith's novels.
Mahesh Babu To Play An Adventurist?
Since the action adventure is being mounted on a global scale, Rajamouli is also in talks with production houses in the US for possible collaborations. According to reports, Mahesh Babu will be seen as an adventurist in the film which is scripted by Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad. Cinematographer PS Vinod is on board.
