India captain, Rohit Sharma was spotted having a playful conversation with a fangirl ahead of the India-New Zealand 2nd Test of the 3-match series in Pune. The ex Mumbai Indians captain have a huge fan following all over the country and the 37-year old is often seeing catering to the fans' demand be it in the stadiums or off the pitch.
The video, which has gone viral all over social media, the girl requested the T20 World Cup 2024-winning captain for an autograph and during the brief chat they had, the young girl couldn't help but requested Rohit to convey her message to Virat Kohli.
βVirat bhai ko bolna bohot badi fan ayi thi (Tell Virat bhai that a huge fan had come)'', she told.
This literally brought a smile to Rohit's face and assured her that he will definitely let him know about it, by saying 'Bolta hun (Will let him know).
Just like Rohit, Virat Kohli also has a huge fanbase in India, ranking him right at the top with former India skipper MS Dhoni.

Speaking of India's performance in the 1st Test, the hosts were dreadful in all departments, specially the batting, which led them achieve new low in the longest format as the top-order batters failed miserably to get bundled out for just 46 runs. The five of the top 8 batters in the playing XI were dismissed for a duck, which includes Virat Kohli.
But in their second innings of their batting, Virat and Rohit both redeemed themselves with half-centuries and hopes for a comeback for the Indians were on the cards through Sarfaraz Khan's century but again the batters faltered and failed to set up a good total on the board as the Kiwis chased down the target of 107 with 8 wickets in hand.
As the pressure of qualification for the World Test Championship final mounts, India will be needing at least 3 wins and a draw to secure a third consecutive WTC final spot in their remaining matches of the cycle. The 2nd Test in Pune will be a huge opportunity for Rohit Sharma and co. to make amends of the blunders they did in Bengaluru.
The penultimate Test of the series will be played at the MCA Stadium from October 24 onwards.
