Kota: Class 10 student jumped to death in Kota on Wednesday, October 16. The student died on spot after jumping from third floor of his house, suspectedly due to depression over being expelled from school. The deceased was a student of well reputed private school in Talwandi.

The parents told the Police that their son was in a state of distress since his dismissal from the school in August this year. He was expelled after an e-cigarette was found in his school bag. The parents arrested the school authorities that the ciggerete was placed in their son's bag by another student.

Considering the parents request and apology letter submitted by the student, the school allowed the student to appear in the mid-term examination. However, the student was still not allowed to attend regular classes after the exams concluded on October 10. On Monday, October 14, the student and his parents approached the school again and urged the principal to revoke the expulsion.
