Ahead of his first-ever India tour, Devi Sri Prasad has spoken about the much-anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun. Speaking to the press on Monday, Devi Sri Prasad who is composing music for the Sukumar directorial, stated the background score and RR (re-recording) for the film has turned out to be very exciting.
‘Mind Boggled After Watching First Half’
Speaking on the occasion, Devi Sri Prasad commented about Pushpa 2’s RR (re-recording). “After watching the first half of Pushpa 2, I was mind boggled,” commented the national award music composer. He added that when he heard the script on the first day narrated by Sukumar he couldn’t control the excitement. “There were so many high moments during the narration that lyricist Chandrabose garu and I clapped on three occasions asking ‘was this the interval bang?’, we felt so high,” stated DSP.
Sukumar’s Writing Was Excellent
Devi Sri Prasad further stated that the way Sukumar wrote and made Pushpa 2 was really top notch. “The way my dear friend and icon star Allu Arjun rocked it with his magic is to be seen. Pushpa 2 is next level movie, and I am telling you that after watching the first half,” added the composer.
As of now, Pushpa 2 is slated for release on December 6, 2024. Rashmika Mandanna is playing Allu Arjun’s love interest in the rustic action entertainer. Allu Arjun is riding high after the blockbuster success of the first instalment. Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar are producing the film under Mythri Movie Makers.
