Seunghan has officially parted ways with RIIZE. After announcing his departure due to immense backlash from 'OT6' fans, the K-pop idol was spotted at a support project created by his fans.
Seunghan spotted post departure from RIIZE
Earlier this week, SM Entertainment had announced that Seunghan would be re-joining RIIZE following a 10-month long hiatus. While international BRIIZE as well as non-fans celebrated the news, Korean fans were not too happy about it. To show their displeasure over Seunghan’s return to RIIZE, K-fans sent around 1000 funeral wreaths to SM Entertainment. Unfortunately, Seunghan seemingly caught sight of the wreaths as he walked past the label’s building.
In a now viral video, a man, seemingly Seunghan, could be seen looking rather dejected while walking past the funeral wreaths.

Just a couple of hours later, Seunghan was spotted visiting fan support projects that had been displayed at a subway station. As per an observer, the K-pop star spent a long time reading the letters written by fans for him before leaving the area.

Seunghan leaves RIIZE
Just two days after SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan would be re-joining RIIZE following his 10-month long hiatus, the label shared that the singer had decided to exit the group on October 13. “Seunghan has expressed his intention to leave the team for the members and fans. We respect the artist’s decision, and we would like to inform you that Seunghan has left the RIIZE, not joined again,” the statement read.

For the unversed, in 2023, Seunghan was caught up in multiple controversies after pre-debut pics and clips of him surfaced online. In the leaked media, the former RIIZE member could be seen smoking, hanging out with girls and allegedly badmouthing another K-pop idol. As the situation worsened, Seunghan was put on an indefinite hiatus.
