Mumbai: The city has been witnessing showers for the past few hours. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning for Mumbai on Monday (October 14). The weather condition for today is predicted to be a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorms.
Today, the maximum temperature is expected to reach at 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to reach 25 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity oscillated between 73 percent and 89 percent.

The IMD issued a yellow alert for areas including Nandurbar, Dhule, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Thane, Raigad, Mumbai, Buldhana, Yavatmal for thunderstorm and lightning. As per latest data, yellow alert has been issued in Mumbai for tomorrow as well.
