Baba Siddique's son, Zeeshan, is a politician belonging to the Indian National Congress. The 32-year-old is currently a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and the former President of Mumbai Youth Congress.
In the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election, Zeeshan won the Vandre East Vidhan Sabha (MLA) Constituency by defeating Shiv Sena's Vishwanath Mahadeshwar by 5790 votes.
In February this year, Zeeshan was removed as the president of the Mumbai Youth Congress days after his father joined the ruling Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). In August, the state Congress announced the expulsion Zeeshan along with MLA Jitesh Antapurkar.
"Jitesh Antapurkar and Zeeshan Siddique have been expelled from the Congress party. It is unworthy to talk about the people who are not part of the party," said state Congress president Nana Patole.
Reacting to this, Zeeshan said, "If they are accusing me of cross voting then they should also come out with the name they had asked me to vote for during the council polls."
Baba Siddique's daughter, Arshia, is a doctor and an entrepreneur. On July 29, Baba Siddique shared a social media post wishing his daughter on her birthday.
"Happy Birthday to you my loving Daughter Dr. Arshia Siddique. You are My Strength, My Pride who is always by my side," he wrote.
