Sanju Samson silenced his critics with a brilliant century in the third and final T20I against Bangladesh. Samson was on the radar of critics after poor show in the first two matches but the Rajasthan Royals captain was in full flow in Hyderabad as he blasted the fifty in just 22 balls, including eight fours and two sixes. He went berserk after reaching the landmark and slaughtered the Bangladesh bowlers. He scored five sixes of five balls off Rishad Hosein and reached his century in just 40 balls.
Samson hasn’t got a lot of chances in team India, but every time he got one, he messed it up before falling back in the queue. With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announcing retirement from T20Is after the T20 World Cup, there was a slot up for grabs for Samson and he almost messed it up after an underwhelming performance in the first two matches.
Meanwhile, the joy and relief were clearly visible on Samson's face when he scored a boundary to reach his maiden T20I hundred, the second fastest in India's history. His reaction after getting to the landmark went viral on social media.

India Thrash Bangladesh
Meanwhile, after losing Abhishek Sharma early, Samson was joined by Suryakumar Yadav, and the pair piled on the agony on the Bangladesh bowlers. India raced to 100 in just 7.1 overs which is the fastest in their T20 history. While Samson was going all guns berserk, Suryakumar Yadav was in the zone of his own and reached fifty in 23 balls. Sanju (111) and Surya (75) were dismissed in quick succession but the carnage did not stop. Riyan Parag scored 34 in 13 while Hardik Pandya made 47 in 18 as India posted a record total of 297-6. Bangladesh in reply could only score 164-7 and lost the game by 133 runs.
