Rahool N Kanal can’t believe that Baba Siddique is no more. While mourning the loss of the prominent politician, he told Zoom, “Really sorry for the loss, he was like an elder brother,” before adding, “Just want to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family as it will be really hard to bear the loss. May God almighty bless the family and may all be well. Hope this news is incorrect.”

For the unversed, Rahool is a YouTuber and the president of I Love Mumbai Foundation. He is closely associated with celebs, including, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Virat Kohli as well as politicians like Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde.

Baba Siddique is no more

On October 12, Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra East. According to the police, he was fired upon by three unidentified people. While the politician was immediately rushed to the Lilavati Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away at around 9:30 PM.

The Mumbai Police as well as the Special Cell of Delhi Police have initiated an investigation into Siddique's murder case. As of now, the police have reportedly apprehended two out of the three people. "Mumbai police chief told me two persons have been arrested. One is from Uttar Pradesh, other from Haryana. Third assailant is absconding but police are trying to nab him," chief minister Eknath Shinde told Hindustan Times.
