Meerut: In a miraculous incident, two children narrowly escaped a building collapse in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district on Friday. The entire incident was captured on CCTV installed in the area and soon the video went viral. In the footage, it could be seen that a house in dilapidated condition collapsed just moments after the children passed in front of it.
Notably, the front portion of a house in the Sadar Bazar police station area in Meerut collapsed. The video showed the two innocent children passing by the road narrowly escaping. The incident took place in Dholki Mohalla of the Sadar Bazar police station area.

It was reported that the house was over 100 years old. It could be seen in the video that before the part of the house collapsed, a woman and two children were also walking on the road. As soon as the house was about to collapse, both the children ran away and narrowly escaped.
The house reportedly belonged to a Jain community trust. The Cantonment Board had also sent a notice to demolish the house several times, but it collapsed on Friday.
