explained! why is harshit rana not playing india vs bangladesh 3rd t20i?

India will aim for a clean sweep when they take on Bangladesh in the third and final T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. KKR pacer Harshit Rana was expected to play in the third T20I, however, he did not travel with the team to the stadium. The BCCI later gave an update on Harshit Rana's status and confirmed that Rana has a viral infection and thus did not accompany the team to the stadium. The development means that Rana will remain uncapped till the cut-off date for IPL retentions and KKR can retain him at a price of INR 4 crores.

Meanwhile, India won the toss and opted to bat in the third T20I. India made one change to the combination and brought in Ravi Bishnoi in place of Arshdeep Singh. India comprehensively defeated Bangladesh in the first two games and they would like to end the series on a high.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav said he wanted the team to bowl second with dew around and be prepared to perform in every condition.
