BB OTT 3’s Ranvir Shorey Says He Didn’t Know What He Was Getting Into When He Took Up The Show

Ranvir Shorey had made headlines with his stint on Bigg Boss OTT 3 which saw his arch rival Sana Makbul lift the winner's trophy. On the show, Shorey was often accused of trying to revive his career. He had also said that he's in there for the money so he could send his son to a good college. Recently, Ranvir sat down for a conversation with Cyrus Broacha, who was also a participant on Bigg Boss OTT 2. He opened up about his experience on the reality show and said that before he was approached for it, he had never seen a full episode it.

'Didn't know what I was getting into'

Ranvir said that he “went inside the BB house not knowing fully what he was getting himself into”. The actor realised the after-effects only after he was done with it. “I just felt like that people who are coming inside to participate and people who arewatching have made a stereotype of the show. That you have to come there and fight,” he said.

On fights inside the house

Ranvir Shorey also talked about how the contestants would fight inside the house for no reason at all. Hence, he would stay away from them. However, he stopped ignoring it the day he got physically hurt during one of the tasks. Ranvir said that it was at this point that he gave it back to the contestants who were being nasty towards him.

“I am saying you don’t have to (fight). Don’t feel the pressure of the TV show. That’s their problem, the guy who is running the show, it’s his problem, he will figure out what to put. Don’t feel the pressure that there are 200 cameras on me and I am not doing anything,” Ranvir said.

"Can't sit through an episode"

Ranvir Shorey confessed that he had never watched Bigg Boss before he participated in it. He ended up watching a few clips after he was offered the show. In fact, Ranvir said that he hasn’t even watched the episodes of his own season. “I cant sit through an entire episode. I don’t have the patience for it,” he said.
