Vice President Kamala Harris landed her second US Vogue cover on Friday, with a caption that reads: 'The candidate for our times'. However, several right-wing commentators and Donald Trump supporters slammed the Democratic nominee for shooting with the magazine while Hurricane Milton wrecked parts of Florida. The Harris-Walz campaign is yet to respond to the criticism on social media.
Harris' cover image is photographed by Annie Leibovitz. In a posr on X, platform formerly known as Twitter, Vogue said: "Only rarely are individuals summoned for acts of national rescue, but in July, Vice President Kamala Harris received one of those calls. With President Joe Biden’s decision to end his reelection campaign, the world looked to Harris with hopes and doubts.”

The publication endorsed Harris back in July. Its latest edition has a 8,000-word profile, stressing on the VP's policy positions if she is elected in November.

However, several social media users slammed Harris. "I’m glad Kamala Harris had time to sit for a Vogue photo shoot right now. She’s got her priorities straight!" one person tweeted.
