Reliance's financial services arm on Friday announced the launch of the New JioFinance App, which would be available to customers on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and MyJio. The app was developed in response to feedback received to make improvements. On May 30, 2024, a beta version of the JioFinance App was introduced.
Since its beta launch, a number of financial products and services have been added such as home loans (including balance transfer), loans on mutual funds, and loan against property, the company said via stock exchange filings.
According to the financial services arm of RIL, the loans on the app will be available at competitive terms and will provide significant savings for the customers. "On the savings front, the digital savings account from Jio Payments Bank Ltd. (JPBL), which can be opened digitally in under 5 minutes, offers a secure bank account with biometric authentication and a physical debit card," stated the official statement.
Features Of The JioFinance App
A number of features will be available to the customers including mobile recharge, UPI payments, and the ability to pay credit card bills. additionally, the JioFinance app also allows its customers to view their holdings. With the JioFinance app, its users can view their holdings across various bank accounts and their mutual fund holdings.
Additionally, the app offers 24 insurance plans ranging over health, suite of life, two-wheeler, and motor insurance digitally. Moreover, JFSL and its joint venture partner BlackRock are aiming to provide clients with cutting-edge, premium investing options.
