Shiv Thakare has hit the jackpot! In an exciting turn of events for the Bigg Boss 16 fame, he won a stunning house worth Rs 1.78 crore in the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) lottery. The MHADA lottery for 2024 recently announced the allocation of 2,030 houses across various parts of Mumbai. Among the winners list are also some other popular Marathi celebrities along with Thakare.
Shiv Thakare wins house in lottery
According to reports, Shiv Thakare secured a home in Mumbai's Powai area under the High-Income Group (HIG) category. The value of his new house is estimated at Rs 1.78 crore. The reports also mention that the MHADA lottery saw other artists in the winners' circle including actress Gautami Deshpande along with actor Nikhil Bane from Hasya Jatra and actor Gaurav More. The lottery results were announced on October 8.

Nikhil won a home in Kannamwar Nagar in Vikhroli. On the other hand, Gautami was alloted a home in Goregaon. It has been said that approximately 27 artists had applied for just two homes in Goregaon.
