The grand finale of Bigg Boss Marathi 5 took place on October 6, 2024. Suraj Chavan was declared the winner and he took home the coveted trophy along with Rs 14.6 lakh prize money, Rs 10 lakh jewellery voucher and a swanky two-wheeler vehicle. Soon after, he travelled back to his hometown in the Modhave village, located in Baramati tehsil of Pune district in Maharashtra. Needless to say, Suraj received a hero's welcome. It was a grand event and the BB winner obliged to meet and greet his fans despite being terribly unwell.
Suraj Chavan meets his fans
According to media reports, Suraj Chavan made a grand entry into his village dancing to Zapuk Zapuk. The villagers had organised a victory rally for him and the star of the moment was seen dancing from the roof of his car. He even visited his school and interacted with the students there, encouraging them to focus on their studies.

Reports suggest that Suraj Chavan met his followers, consuming little or no food. He only survived on water for a whole day as he was unwell. He was surrounded by so many followers from the districts Beed, Satara and Sangli that he had to spend a day meeting and clicking pictures with them. He didn't get irritated even once and also danced to the DJ. Despite feeling feverish, he entertained all his fans.

After coming out of the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house, Suraj Chavan was also seen visiting his fellow contestant, model and actress Irina Rudakova. They were spotted worshipping at a temple.

On BB Marathi 5, Suraj had a difficult competition with singer and actor Abhijeet Sawant. The latter finished as the first runner-up while Nikki Tamboli emerged as the second runner-up.
