A massive explosion was heard in Sin el Fil of Mount Lebanon Governorate on Monday amid the ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Israel bombed targets in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, marking the first anniversary of the October 7 attack by Hamas that sparked the war.

Hezbollah on Sunday fired rockets, which landed in Haifa, Israel's third-largest city, damaging buildings, reported Reuters, citing police. At least 10 people were injured in the rocket strike in Haifa and the city of Tiberias. A house was also damaged in Hafia.

Israeli airstrikes hit Beirut's southern suburbs in the heaviest assault on the Lebanese capital since Israel intensified its offensive against Hezbollah last month. The night sky was illuminated by fireballs, and explosions echoed throughout the city.
