arvind kejriwal throws 'challenge' at pm modi ahead of delhi polls: 'will campaign for bjp if

New Delhi: AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal Sunday challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide free electricity in the NDA-ruled states before the Delhi Assembly elections, promising he would campaign for the BJP if he fulfills this demand.

"I challenge PM Modi to provide free electricity in all 22 BJP-ruled states before the Delhi Assembly elections in February. If he does, I will campaign for the BJP," Kejriwal asserted while addressing a public gathering in Delhi.

Listing the welfare schemes like free bus ride for women, elderly pilgrimage launched by his government for the people of Delhi, Kejriwal said the BJP wants to take them away.

"We gave six revaris to Delhi: power, water, bus ride for women, elderly pilgrimage, health, education; BJP will take them away," he said.

BJP's Double Engine Governments Will Soon Collapse

Kejriwal also accused the BJP's "double engine" governments of "double loot and double corruption". "Double engine governments mean inflation, corruption and unemployment," he said.

Kejriwal predicted their ouster from Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.

"I was watching TV yesterday evening, exit polls were coming. BJP's double-engine governments are going from Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. The double engine has failed in the country. The first engine failed in June when they got 240 seats. The second engine will also fail from Jharkhand and Maharashtra slowly. People have understood that double-engine government means inflation, unemployment and corruption…," he said while addressing 'Janta Ki Adalat' event.

Kejriwal further accused the BJP of being anti-poor, citing the removal of bus marshals and data entry operators as well as the halting of home guards' salaries in Delhi.

"There is no democracy in Delhi. It's under the LG's rule," he alleged.
