India On Top In 2nd Test

Meanwhile, India find themselves on top in the second Test. Rain washed out a significant time out of the match and the onus was on India to force a result. They did well with the ball and bowled out Bangladesh for 233. India came out all guns blazing with the ball and recorded the fastest fifty in Test cricket. They reached the landmark in just three overs, beating England’s record, which they achieved in the Test against West Indies earlier this year. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal tonked the ball to all corners of the park as Bangladesh bowlers looked rattled. India were 103-1, going at nearly 10 runs per over, at the time of writing. India would look to a big lead by the end of day and bat the first session on Day before asking Bangladesh to bat.
