Walz was at the Michigan Wolverines vs Minnesota Golden Gophers football game on Saturday. In videos posted on social media, several fans could be seen booing the VP hopeful. However, it was one image that sparked controversy. In the photo, the Minnesota governor could be seen walking with his middle finger pointing upwards.

While it is not known if Walz actually flicked the middle finger at a fan, the photo is bringing him a lot of criticism. Angry Michigan fans were seen booing the Harris running mate after he made them wait in the rain while his motorcade arrived at the stadium. Hundreds at the Ann Arbor stadium were heard chanting 'Tampon Tim' – mocking Walz for allowing free tampons in schools, including in boys rooms.
