Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday visited the White House and held a meeting with Democratic nominee and presidential hopeful Kamala Harris. After their sit-in, the vice president expressed her support for Kyiv, which has been involved in a war with Moscow since 2014. Disturbing years of stability, Russia attacked Ukraine in 2022. Now, Zelesnkyy has some key decisions to make.
Trump's stance on United States' Ukraine agenda has been a major storyline amid Zelenskyy's Washington trip. The former president lashed out at the 46-year-old on Wednesday. He accused the Ukraine president of not making concessions to Russia. This was a strong indication that he would stop backing Kyiv if elected on November 5.

Speaking at a campaign event in North Carolina, Trump said Ukraine should have 'given up a little bit' to appease Russia. He added that a violent two-year war could have been avoided.
"We continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refuses to make a deal, Zelenskyy," Trump said. He further added that 'any deal, even the worst deal, would’ve been better than what we have right now'.

“Ukraine is gone, it’s not Ukraine anymore. You can never replace those cities and towns and you can never replace the dead people, so many dead people. If we made a bad deal, it would have been much better. They [Ukraine] would have given up a little bit and everybody would be living," Trump said.
Donald Trump's indication has sparked theories about a rift between the two world leaders. The Ukraine president is yet to react to Trump's statement.
