new hero xpulse spied testing, reveals new design details

Hero Xpulse is a name that has gained popularity among people who want to explore uncharted territories on the air bike. Well-recognised as a budget-friendly off-road capable bike, the bike is already on sale in the Indian market. However, the brand seems to be planning on expanding the name with the introduction of new models into the family. To do so, the brand has been working on new models which have been spied on multiple times. Extending the list of spy shots, the bikes have been spotted in the Northern region of India in the snow-covered mountains.

In the latest spy shot, the bike can be seen covered in camouflage. However, there are a few details that can be picked out. For instance, the front end of the bike gets a fender with a high beak. This is complemented by the presence of a round LED headlamp which based on previous pictures has a different design compared to the outgoing versions. Furthermore, the brand has equipped the bike with a tall windscreen.

With the rider in the saddle, it is easy to tell that the handlebars are placed at a decent height while the footpegs are placed in a position to offer a rather relaxed riding stance. This seems to be very similar to the conventional adventure tourer bikes. The fuel tank of the bike also seems to be bigger compared to the previous versions which merges into a long single-piece seat.

The bike is suspended on conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear end. The braking responsibilities of the Hero Xpulse are handled by disc brakes on both ends which seem to have a dual-channel ABS system.

The Hero Xpulse in this version seems to be using a 210 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which the brand uses in the outgoing Karizma XMR. In the entry-level sportbike, the power unit produces 25.15 bhp of power and 20.4 Nm of peak torque. However, with the Xpulse the engine might be tuned to have a different output.
