The results for round 2 seat allotment of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) counselling 2024 will be announced today, on September 19. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will publish the merit list on its official website at mcc.nic.in.
Participants in this round of NEET-UG counselling now have an opportunity to secure seats in MBBS, BDS, and other medical programmes nationwide. Successful candidates must report to their assigned colleges between September 20th and 26th. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of their security deposit. Selected candidates must appear at the colleges for admission and document verification to confirm their seat reservations.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round 2 have the option to indicate their willingness to upgrade. To do this, they must physically report to the allotted college. If a candidate is upgraded to a new seat in round 2, they must obtain a relieving letter from their round 1 seat and join the round 2 seat. Additionally, candidates who do not join the allotted seats in round 2 will forfeit their security deposit.
