About The Buckingham Murders

The Buckingham Murders is a whodunnit that follows the story of Kareena’s central character of Jasmeet Bhamra. As she navigates through the case, she fights not just the societal elements and obstructions, but even an emotional turmoil.

The Buckingham Murders comparison with Mare Of Easttown

The Buckingham Murders also stars Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, and Keith Allen. It is facing tough competition from the re-released movies at the theatres. While Tumbbad and Veer-Zara continue to rake in money, Kareena’s movie is falling short of the mark.

Many even compared the movie with Mare Of Easttown starring Kate Winslet. Speaking on the comparison, Hansal Mehta told Zoom, “Comparison reeks of the mediocrity of those who are comparing. You watch something good. It inspires you. You see a good performance and it inspires you. It doesn’t mean that you rip it off. It doesn’t mean that it’s a copy. These comparisons are the work of mediocre minds, and I’m surprised that some people who call themselves critics have harped and harped upon it. It just tells you how lazy they have become.”
