India are currently taking on Bangladesh in the first of a two-match Test Series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The first Test vs Bangladesh is thus Rishabh Pant's first Test match appearance for Team India after 632 days. He was about of action for a long period of time due to injuries suffered after the horrific car accident in December 2022. Pant had earlier made his comeback for Team India in the T20 World Cup 2024, and even made his ODI return in the series against Sri Lanka.
