The interview begins with Kohli playing a clip of his knock from the 2011 ODI World Cup final, and Gambhir's 97-run knock. Later, the Indian players can be seen celebrating the historic triumph, with both Virat and Gautam part of the celebrations.
The Indian coach heaped praise on the ex-India captain, saying that he was thoroughly impressed by Virat Kohli's batting prowess in Australia when he scored heaps of runs Down Under. Gautam himself recalled his iconic knock in Napier against New Zealand when he slammed 137 in 436 balls as he stated he couldn't have batted for such a long duration as Kohli did.
The video also showed the iconic duo taking a sly dig at the chatter around their past camaraderie, all the 'masala and spice'.
Virat Kohli can also be heard questioning Gautam Gambhir on how he felt while having conversations with opposition players after which the Indian coach teased Virat by saying that he has had more altercations on the field.
Both of them break out in laughter and Virat agrees that he has had more altercations as he revealed he was looking for validation whether the way he reacts to chatter from opposition players is the right way to do it.
Putting all the bad blood behind them, the duo is working in unison as they prepare for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh with the first fixture due to be played in Chennai from 19-23 September.
