Indore: A group of miscreants allegedly harassed a woman through a window of a moving vehicle in Indore on Saturday night. The incident, captured on CCTV, purportedly showed the men harassing the woman by putting their hands through the window of the moving car. The woman was travelling with her husband when the incident occurred.
When the woman screamed, her husband stopped the car, after which the intoxicated miscreants allegedly assaulted them. They reportedly caused a ruckus and climbed onto the car's bonnet. The woman and her husband filed a complaint of molestation. Meanwhile, the accused men also filed a complaint with the police, alleging a car accident.
According to the police, the men accused the car driver of causing the accident. The woman and her husband approached the police station after CCTV footage emerged, purportedly showing the youths molesting and assaulting her.
Based on the CCTV footage, Annapurna police have registered a case against Mohit, who was allegedly involved in the harassment.
Further investigation is underway.
