Tributes –

Many people have taken to social media to pay their respects and honor Weise’s memory.

"I still can't believe it. Walker just text me. And told me. I'm at a loss for words. Prayers for the Weise family he was such a example for a everyone to look up to. Young and old. Now you're riding in that rodeo in the sky. My prayers go out to JD Weise Amanda Weise and his sister. And pray God wraps his arms around you. Love you Dalton Weise see you soon buddy," one person wrote on Facebook.

Another person expressed, "Never in a million years did I think I'd have to make a post like this. Dalton "Monkey" Weise was every bit of a Star and Hero he set out to be. Since birth he was always the smallest one with the biggest heart. There was never a mountain too high he couldn't overcome. From football, to MMA, to becoming one of the BEST Junior Bull riders in the WORLD, he excelled at everything he did. Tragically last night would be the last time this world would hold his precious soul. I am a mess, but I'll always be a proud Uncle D. I'm going to miss you Cowboy."

Another person wrote, "My heart has been so heavy, and it’s hard to even put into words how I’ve felt since hearing about Dalton Weise ‘s passing earlier this week. He was such an incredible young man and talented bull rider, and the few times I had the chance to meet him, he was always so kind and polite. His grit, his determination, and the fire he had for this way of life will always stay with me. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and everyone in our rodeo community who’s feeling this loss right now."
