Australia captain Mitchell Marsh has been sitting out of the second T20I against Bangladesh as he is 'slightly unwell', as informed by stand-in skipper Travis Head at the toss. With the former taking ill, Head will lead the national side for the first time. Rookie Jake Fraser-McGurk replaced Marsh in the playing XI and came in to bat at No. 3.
Head has been in brilliant form with the bat and has provided Australia with quick starts. In the first T20I, he scored a 23-ball 59 and bagged the Player of the Match award.
But in the second T20I, despite getting a good start, Head was dismissed for a 14-ball 31 by Brydon Carse. At the end of the powerplay, Australia were 67/1.

"Mitch is slightly unwell, so this change. We've made three changes for us today. We want to play with intent, we've some amazing hitters in the middle, some big boys in the middle and they're raring to go," Head had said at the toss.

Australia made two other changes, with medium-pacer Xavier Bartlett missing out because of a side strain and Josh Hazlewood being rested with one more T20I and five ODIs to follow.

Australia will bat deep, with allrounders Cooper Connolly and Sean Abbott slated to bat at No. 9 and 10.
Meanwhile, Phil Salt, who is replacing Jos Buttler as skipper after the latter had to withdraw with an injury, became the third man from Wales to lead England, after batter Cyril Walter and spinner Tony Lewis and the first to do so in Wales.
